I added a page (I Love Patterns) to my site with these new patterns, you can click on each thumbnail to see them bigger. The patterns are based on some portfolio pieces, I had a great time designing them, hope you like them.

A little late this week, lots of things happening, learning Dreaweaver, working on my portfolio and participating in the Zero2Illo 12 week challenge. But here it is: a really bad detective.

I finished this pattern yesterday, although it was just sitting in my hard drive collecting dust for some time now. Guess after loopy´s adventure I have a need to draw cats.

Terminé este repite ayer, aunque llevaba un buen tiempo sentado en mi disco duro recogiendo polvo. Creo que después de la aventura de Loopy tengo la necesidad de dibujar gatos.

Aca está un repite que hice hace algun tiempo, he estado un poquito ocupada esta semana, pero necesitaba subir algo. Feliz semana.

This is Guadalupe A.K.A: Guada, Lupe, Lupi, Loopy Loop, Guada-Loopy-Loop. She is my housemate´s kitty, Lupi was rescued from an office building parking lot, where she lived under cars. She was really skinny and malnourished. After a month with us she was a happy kittie, but… something was wrong, we took her to the vet and longer story short, the vet rescue her from dying. Two months go by and… THIS sunday, she got spooked by a big male cat and  climbed up a tree, she couldn´t get down, we called the fire department and they rescued her, after 3 hours! she´s at the vet right now and will get some stitches in the palate. 
This week´s topic was… exhausting.

Esta es Guadalupe también conocida como: Guada, Lupe, Lupi, Loopy Loop, Guada-Loopy-Loop. Es la gatica de una de mis compañeras de casa, Lupi fue rescatada de un parqueadero de oficinas, donde vivía debajo de carros. Estaba muy flaca y desnutrida. Después de un mes con nosotras era una gatita feliz, pero… algo andaba mal, la llevamos al veterinario y para no volver esta historia mas larga, el veterniario la salvo de una muerte segura. Dos meses despues… ESTE domingo, un gato macho la espantó y se subió a un árbol, no se podía bajar, llamamos a los bomberos y la rescataron, después de 3 horas! en este momento está en el veterinario, donde le van a poner puntos en el paladar.
El tema de esta semana fue… agotador.

Is there anything more horrible than a mosquito keeping you awake? You get out of bed and try to catch it, but you can´t see it, so you go back to bed, and this little beast keeps buzzing like he is on a mission, so you try to catch it again and this goes on all night, until you go crazy. I hate mosquitos so much!

Hay algo más horrible que un mosquito manteniendote despierto? Uno sale de la cama, lo trata de atrapar, pero no se ve, entonces te metes a la cama otra vez y esa bestiecilla sigue zumbando como si tuviera una misión, entonces tratas de atraparlo otra vez y esto sigue toda la noche, hasta que te enloqueces. Odio los mosquitos!

This recipe is a re-interpretation of pasta puttanesca, but easier, where boiling the water is the hardest part. Esta receta es una reinterpretacion de una pasta puttanesca, pero mucho mas facil, donde hervir el agua es lo mas dificil.
